A Garden Walk with Room to Pause

A Garden Walk with Room to Pause

Jephson Gardens offers a simple starting point for a day in Royal Leamington Spa: a walk, some time beside the planting and a pause before the next stop. Rather than treating the garden as a shortcut, leave enough time to notice how it changes with the season.

Plan around daylight

Warwick District Council lists daily opening from 8am, with closing times changing through the year. Its published schedule gives 6pm in October, 5pm in November and 4pm in December. Check the council’s visitor page before travelling, especially if you plan to arrive late in the day.

Make the route work for you

The council describes the gardens as accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs and lists toilets, accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities. Individual needs and ground conditions vary, so check any detail that matters to your visit. Dogs must be kept on a lead and cycling is not permitted in the gardens.

Leave the rest of the day open

A garden visit can be an outing in its own right. If you want to continue into town, choose one nearby stop rather than filling every hour. Our town guide is a starting point for looking up places; confirm opening hours directly before setting off.
